“MEDICATION ADHERENCE: WHAT CAN YOU DO WITH THE MEDICAL CHALLENGE THAT STARTS AFTER THE CONSULTATION?”

This a:care congress is a first-in-kind event on adherence management through behavioral science that is specifically designed for healthcare professionals.

The virtual meeting provides a unique opportunity to be part of an exciting collaboration between renowned experts in behavioral science and communication, and world-class professors of medicine across a number of therapy areas, as they explore strategies for improving medication adherence.

Attend the inaugural a:care congress to:

  • learn how the latest behavioral science interventions and digital technology can be applied in your clinical practice
  • share insight and challenges
  • enhance your skills to support improved communication with patients

Program

An exciting and innovative congress program.

Designed to provide a thorough grounding in the principles of behavioral science before exploring in more detail the challenges of non-adherence, the content very much combines theory with practice to give delegates an enriched learning experience. Each session will be jointly led by a clinician and behavioral scientist.

The congress will run over two half-days. For the convenience of the participants, the sessions will be repeated.

Faculty members

Learn from leaders in behavioral science and clinical experts.

Chaired by Prof John Weinman, Professor of Psychology at King’s College London, the congress features sessions from international clinical experts, across multiple therapy areas including neurology, cardiology, gastroenterology and women’s health.

Eminent behavioral scientists will share their expertise and lead the discussions on how we can develop effective interventions to improve adherence and, in turn, patient outcomes.
